Chocolate and Stout Bundt Cake with Sour Cream Glaze

I've been so fortunate to have grown up in a family of food fanatics. My brother recently started brewing his own beer and apparently stouts have become one his specialities. It’s a talent that’s unfortunately wasted on me because I have very little appreciation for beer. Thankfully, my husband is there to make up for my lack of beer appreciation. Whenever we would go over to visit, my brother would bring out his latest beers to try and the pair of them would sit there exchanging thoughts.

Baking can turn even the unfamiliar into something delicious which is why I’ve decided to pair the stout with chocolate for this cake. This is a dark, velvety chocolate stout bundt with a sour cream glaze. I wouldn’t call this a rich chocolate cake but rather earthy with a slight tang from the stout. The addition of the stout makes it dense and moist which is why a sour cream glaze works wonders with it.
